Description

This semi-detached housing estate in Jasło, on Widokowa Street, consists of six two-unit single-family buildings — twelve self-contained flats in total, each of approx. 115 m² usable floor area. The scheme stands on steeply sloping plots, which became the project’s main theme: each segment sits at a different ground level, with height differences handled by retaining walls, slope drainage and outdoor steps along the footpaths. A distinctive feature is the earth terraces on the west side of each building, reached directly from the ground-floor flats — giving the lower flats proper outdoor space despite the compact layout. The buildings have two storeys above ground and a partly habitable attic, a simple form without eaves and steep gable roofs in graphite metal roof tiles. The facades are in light render, and the windows and doors meet a higher insulation standard. The flat layout repeats on both levels: entrance area, living room with kitchenette, two rooms, walk-in wardrobe and bathroom. Each of the twelve flats has its own boiler room, giving residents full independence in paying for heating. Rainwater is collected in sealed tanks on the estate and used to water the greenery, and the car park provides one space per flat.
